Barbara Ann Langley

Barbara Williams Langley, 81, of North Third Avenue, Siler City died Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Langley was born in Richmond County on September 16, 1932 the daughter of Leo and Sarah (Gardner) Williams. She was retired from Hadley Peoples Manfacturing and attended the First Wesleyan Church. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Langley. She is survived by two daughters: Vickie Currin of Greensboro, NC, Amy Carter and husband, Audie of Siler City, NC; four sons: Randy Thomas and wife, Dale of Rockingham, NC, Henry "Tank" Thomas and wife, Debbie of Tucson, AZ., Jeff Thomas of Spokane, WA., Kent Thomas of Raleigh, NC; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Southern officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Siler City.
