Ava Harris Williams

Ava Harris Williams, 98, of 900 West Dolphin Street, Siler City died Friday, October 21, 2011 at Siler City Care & Rehabilitation , Siler City. Mrs. Williams was born July 28, 1913 the daughter of Taylor and Sina (Johnson) Harris. Ms. Williams was a native of Chatham County and was a retired cafeteria worker. She attended Rocky River Baptist Church and enjoyed farming, cooking, working in her flowers and keeping children. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 23, 2011 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 3:00 pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City with Rev. Greg Burris officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
