Audrey Kathleen Moore

Audrey Greene Moore, 82, of Old US 421 Hwy South, Siler City died Sunday, October 5, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Moore was born June 23, 1932 in Guilford County NC, the daughter of Herbert and Doris Iddings Greene. She was a member of Sandy Branch Baptist Church and the Ixthus Sunday School Class. Audrey loved gardening, working in her flowers, cooking and any kind of needle work. She retired from Burlington Industries as a weaver. She is survived by her husband of 63 ½ years: Kenneth Moore, daughters: Dianne M. Stockwell and husband, David of Randleman, NC, Vickie M. Lester and husband, Eddie of Ramseur, NC, Becky M. Gooch and husband, Tim of Denton, NC; sons: Mike Moore of Goldston, NC, Darrell Moore; sister, Mildred Holland and husband, Bobby of Sanford, NC; sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, October 6, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. A graveside service will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Sandy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 715 Sandy Branch Church Road, Bear Creek with Rev. Jim Wall and Rev. Marc Sanders officiating.
