Archie Hugh Smith, Jr., born December 18, 1951, formerly of Bear Creek, NC, resident of Sparta, NC, died May 14, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. He is survived by his wife, Grace Janet Cox Smith of the home; two sisters, Carolyn Carter of Fort Collins, Colorado, May Glasglow of Roanoke Rapids, NC; one niece; two nephews. He is also survived by six step-children; ten step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Sandy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, Bear Creek, Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
