Anthony Holt

Anthony (Andy) Leverne Holt, 44, of 1530 West Raleigh Street, Siler City died Monday, December 19, 2011 at his home. Mr. Holt was born May 24, 1967, son of Earl (Punk) and Frances Caviness Spivey. Andy was born in Orange County, a 1985 graduate of Chatham Central High School and was employed with Pallet One. He was of the Baptist faith, loved riding his motorcycle, doing landscaping, carpentry and helping people. Andy was a well known mechanic around town, loved classic cars and country music. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl (Punk) Holt and a sister, Cynthia (Cindy) Thomas. He is survived by his mother, Frances Caviness Spivey of Bear Creek; two brothers: Michael Holt and wife, Lisa of Goldston, NC, Chad Spivey and friend, Angie of Bear Creek, NC;son, Chris; special friend, Patti S. Thomas and her son, Travis of Siler City, NC. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. Other times they will be at the home of his mother, Frances Spivey, 3960 Bear Creek Church Road, Bear Creek. The memorial service will be Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Bear Creek Baptist Church, 1278 Bonlee-Carbonton Road, Bear Creek with Rev. David Hicks, Rev. Bob Wachs and Rev.
