Annie Mae Haithcox Frazier, 78, of Siler City died Monday, December 5, 2016 at Piedmont Senior Care, Pittsboro.
Mrs. Frazier was born in Randolph County on May 18, 1938 the daughter of Howard Dewitt and Effie Mae (Harris) Haithcox. She had retired from BB Walker Shoe Company and had also worked for Mid- State Farms in Siler City. Annie was a member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Bennett, enjoyed cooking, word search, coloring and watching soap operas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Frazier; son, Earl Wingate Frazier; daughter, Rhonda Smith.
She is survived by two daughters: Barbara Ann Powers and husband, Kenneth of Siler City and Sue Lynn Owens of Bear Creek; two sons: Ronald Earl "Bo" Frazier and wife, Gail of Asheboro, NC, Jessie Howard Frazier and wife, Alice of Ramseur; grandchildren, Angela DeHaven (Todd), Kevin and Danny Frazier, Chris Barnes, Timmy Barnes, Jr., Nicky Owens and Michael Baldwin; great-grandchildren, Abby, Alex and Athena DeHaven, Ethan Frazier and Emery Owens; sister, Ruby Jean Ingold of Rutherfordton.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City and other times at the home of Barbara Powers, 114B John Henry Drive, Siler City. The funeral will be Friday, December 9, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 8616 Curtis Powers Road, Bennett with Rev. Russell Brownworth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
