Ann Poole Kirkman Smith

Ann Poole Kirkman Smith, 74, of West Third Street, Siler City died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Smith was born in Randolph County on January 25, 1938 the daughter of Ray and Inez (Cain) Poole. She was of the Baptist Faith. Ann had worked as a waitress at the Copper Penny and Brownie Lu restaurants. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband: Billy Ray Smith, one daughter: Debbie Johnson and fiance', Rick Lehman of Newcomers Town, OH and one son: Gary Kirkman and wife, Margaret of Goldston; three sisters: Jean Cheek and husband, Charles of Greensboro, NC, Denise Watkins and husband, Gary of China Grove, NC, Pam Kolln of Randleman, NC and grandsons, Justin Johnson and Paxton Kirkman. The family will receive friends Friday, January 18, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Patrick Fuller officiating.
