Amanda "Hope" Lockhart

Amanda "Hope" Lockhart, formerly of Siler City, NC, 43 years old, peacefully passed from this world on January 23, 2016 in Olivehurst, CA. from a sudden illness. Hope is predeceased by her father, Jay Lockhart; step-father, Jimmy Andrews; her beloved grandfather, James Nunn; grandparents, Joyce and Beecher Lockhart. She leaves behind her four precious sons, Jalen Eaves of Johnson City, Tenn, Dante Caviness of Siler City, NC, August and Aiden Duke of Erie, PA; her mother, Cynthia Andrews (Steve) of Dublin, VA; sister, Sherry Cates (Troy); nieces, MerryAnna and Molly; nephew, David Cates all of Columbia, SC; grandmother, Maxine Nunn of Snow Camp, NC; her special angel, Thomas (TJ) Johnson, who was by her side to the end; many special aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral will be Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Rocky River Baptist Church, 4436 Siler City-Snow Camp Road, Siler City with Rev. Andrew Taylor-Troutman and Rev. Dr. Greg Burriss officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the services.
