Allene Gilmore Gunter Snow

Allene Gilmore Gunter Snow, 84, of 72 Joe Robinson Road, Siler City died Friday, October 21, 2011 at the home of her granddaughter, Misty Batten. Mrs. Snow was born November 17, 1926 the daughter of the late Frank Lee and Berchie (Walters) Gilmore. Mrs. Snow was a native of Chatham County, but spent most of her life living in Asheboro and was retired from Dixie Furniture. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Apostolic Faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Snow and a brother, Howard Gilmore. She is survived by one daughter: Leanne Robinson of Siler City, NC and one son: Howard Gunter of Siler City, NC; one sister: Frankie Flippin of Rockingham, NC; grandchildren, Misty Batten, Jason and Jamie Robinson, Tracy Sword and Curtis Rader; ten great-grandchildren, and step-daughter, Faye Culberson of Siler City, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 6:30-8:30 PM at Church Of Jesus Apostolic Faith, 701 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC and other times at the home of the granddaughter. The funeral will be Sunday, October 30 at 2:00 at Church Of Jesus Apostolic Faith, 701 North Second Avenue, Siler City with Pastor Mike Crosby and Rev. J. V. Livingston officiating.
