Allen Junior Haith, 85, of Clark Road, Snow Camp died Monday, June 1, 2015 at Hospice & Palliative Care Center Of Alamance-Caswell, Burlington.
Mr. Haith was born in Chatham County on May 7, 1930 the son of Allen L. and Annie Betty (Thomas) Haith. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was retired from Western Electric Maintenance Department in Burlington. Junior was a member of South Fork Friends Meeting and the William Penn Sunday School Class. He enjoyed working with his cows, fishing, wood work, watching Nascar and Atlanta Braves Baseball. He also enjoyed a meal out and visiting with his friends. Junior was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Lindley Haith; his parents; brothers, Lee and Wilbur Haith; sister, Annie Ruth Eubanks.
He is survived by daughters: Connie H. Rader of Asheboro, NC, Sherry H. Simmons of Burlington, NC, Patty H. Glass and husband, Larry of Coleridge, NC; grandchildren, Curtis H, Paul L. and Annice E. Rader, Ashley C. Simmons, Bradley E. Applewhite.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 4, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, NC and other times at the family home. The funeral will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at South Fork Friends Meeting, 359 South Fork-Bethel Road, Snow Camp with Andrew Needham officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
