Alf Nelson Evans

Alf Nelson Evans, 75, of Siler City died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Evans was born January 4, 1938 in Long Beach, NY the son of Ernest Frank and Ruth (Nelson) Evans. He was self employed as a maintenance worker. He is survived by brother: Ernest F. Evans and wife, Deirdre of Siler City, NC; sister, Nancy Evans Deutsch and husband, Robert of Sun City, AZ.; nephews, Ernest Evans and Robert Deutsch; nieces, April Coldren and Sandra Deutsch and a lifelong friend, Freddy Elmer. A reception in celebration of the life of Mr. Evans will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Community Room of Pine Glades Apartments.
