Alexander Joseph Mastej Jr.

Alexander Joseph Mastej Jr., 84, of Silk Hope, passed away Friday, March 15, 2023.

Mr. Mastej was born in Bergen County, New Jersey on April 14, 1938, son of Alexander and Jean Kokosky Mastej. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked for the New York Transit authority for many years. Alexander spent years lovingly taking care of his horses. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, either at the shooting range, hunting, or fishing. He was involved with his sons playing baseball growing up. Family and especially his grandchildren was his greatest love.

In addition to his parents, Alexander is preceded in death by wife Barbara Doris Mastej.

He is survived by his children, Thomas Joseph Mastej, David Alexander Mastej both of Siler City, NC, and Ann-Marie Mastej (Clarence Glover) of NJ; grandchildren, Christian Albino, Eric Alexander Glover both of NJ.
