Patricia Hilliard Gaines Wagoner

Patricia Hilliard Wagoner, 60, of NC Hwy 902, Bear Creek, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Wagoner was born in Chatham County on January 7, 1955, the daughter of Walter Harold and Doris Jones Hilliard. She was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church where she was involved in several activities. Pat had been employed in retail sales and also had worked as Activities Director at SunBridge Nursing Home. She enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and reading. Pat was preceded in death by her first husband, Larry T. Gaines; her father and a brother, William Harold Hilliard. She is survived by her husband, Danny Wagoner; mother, Doris Jones Hilliard of Bear Creek; daughter, Heather Gaines Culberson and husband, William of Bear Creek; sons, Brad T. Gaines of Goldston, Kenny B. Gaines and wife Melanie of Asheboro, Larry Lance Gaines and wife, Tabatha of Bear Creek; step-daughter, Dodie Larow of Burlington grandchildren, Wyatt Culberson and Mason Gaines, Gracie Trodgon, Mason Diver, Lukus, Trey and Noah Larow; sister, Carolyn H. Patterson and husband, Bobby of Siler City; nephew, Jerry Thompson. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, and other times at the home of her mother, 16407 US Hwy 902, Bear Creek. The funeral will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Garner officiating.
